"I am Loki and I defy anatomy. <3" *gets roundhouse-kicked by authors*

Still reading Chainbreaker; up to chapter 30-something now. This is my rendition of Loki in a totally inaccurate half-human form. I was going to draw him holding a cigarette, but I don't think smoking is cool and couldn't help but visualise him accidentally lighting all his fur on fire; then it turned into this. Don't ask me why he keeps his tail sitting in a chair like this. Or why the place is so foggy. Or why there isn't a consistent light source.

More inane artist rambling in unordered list and disjointed sentences:

• Loki can shapeshift. I imagine this is his half-Loki, half-Lain state. An anatomically inaccurate half-Loki, half-Lain state.


• I can't decide whether or not to use this as the contest entry, since drawing him in this form is kinda, like, cheating?


• That needle chain necklace has no significance in the story. It was from one of the contest reference pictures. I just wanted him to do something with his right hand.


• I don't think the official Loki wears plastic rings. He wasn't meant to be wearing those; the metal rings just turned into them as I painted.


• This. Is the FIRST proper male form I've EVER drawn in my ENTIRE LIFE. Men are like, everything at least 1.5 times bigger, rougher and more angular than the average woman. Couldn't just lift my shirt to check whether what I drew looked relatively natural.


• Not that I, uh, do that a lot. *shifty eyes*


• I'm never drawing a man again.


• Never ever again.
